Pearland Denture

Denture

Dentures or commonly known as false teeth are viable options to replace missing teeth. There are two types of dentures: complete and partial dentures. Many people suffer from severe periodontal diseases and in order to get their smile and chewing function back, they need full or partial extraction of their teeth and they can get a same day denture. With today's implant denture technology no one should suffer from loose dentures anymore. If you have an old denture and it feels loose and no amount of denture glue would not secure it, you might want to consider consulting for an implant overdenture option which would give you enough retention with minimal cost.

Implant Crown

After placing an implant there should usually be a gap before loading the implant with the implant crown. Healing time is often 4-6 month depending on bone density. After initial healing we will take an impression of your implant and design your implant crown. There are many situations that one might need a new crown such as broken screw in implant abutment that can cause a loose implant crown or broken crown that needs a replacement.

Dental Crown and Bridges

A crown is a great option for restoring the appearance of the natural tooth while protecting it from any further damage. A crown is a “cap” that fits over the tooth and covers the entire visible part of the tooth and can be made from a variety of materials such as porcelain, ceramic, glass, gold-alloy, and precious-metal bonded to porcelain. Crowns are cemented into place and can last up to 30 years depending on the care you give it and the material you choose. Bridges serve to link the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge consists of placing two or more crowns for teeth on either side of the gap to anchor the false tooth or teeth in between. The anchoring teeth can be natural teeth or even implants. Bridges are considered part of a restoration technique that is both cosmetic and functional because bridges restore the natural look of a smile and allow the patient to maintain the shape of his or her shape but also restores the patient’s ability to chew, speak, and bite properly.
